This was really cool. The info about the clutch was new to me as well. No one ever explained it like that, and I'm a newly commercial rated pilot. Your website is amazing. Thanks for spending all the time to put it together.

Brenda,
I recommend you go to the FAA web site and look for what is called the FAA Rotorcraft Flying Handbook. (faa.gov I think) The publication number is FAA-H-8083-21. You can download it free of charge. It is a good place to start. Let me know if you have any difficulty. My e mail is ricki.thorpe@dot.gov and our web site is www.tsi.dot.gov. I am in the Aviation Safety Division and have about 25 years of helicopter flying with the Army. I would be happy to help in whatever way I can as time allows. Rick / 405.954-7953

He
I am preparing a site for technical students in Swedish. We have to follow EASA in Sweden.
I want to use some of your pictures and some text. What do you say, am I allowed to do so?
I also want to link to your very good site.
I am dealing only with the technical.

Brenda,

I'm in Boston, so I don't know the Georgia operators, but maybe someone else visiting the site will be able to give you some info.

Love this site and info. I do Medevac training with a handheld ultrasound unit with mainly ground training and in flight trauma training. It saves lives looking for blood in the "belly" using ultasound. I was wondering do you know any helicopter people on the southside of Atlanta to show me basic helicopter flight. I fly in helicopters but want to learn more. Can anybody help me. To me learning the overall dynamics of helicopter flight keeps us medevac medical teams safe. The more we know , the move we can save lives. Tks Brenda LeFer Traumafast MediOps Jonesboro, Georgia
